Sophie Nicholls

I graduated in 2006 from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and started working in Uttoxeter and then Beeston Chiropractic Clinic where I practiced for thirteen years.

In 2019 I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and James (my husband) lost both parents in the space of a few months, follow this with a global pandemic and we both reassessed what was important in life and took career breaks.

During that time I covered some maternity leave for a university friend at her business; Hykeham Chiropractic Clinic and enjoyed the relaxed, yet professional, atmosphere Amy and Lisa had created. Friends encouraged me that I could do the same and the planning for Sophisticated Health Chiropractic began!

Very kindly James gave up his training room (he's a keen cyclist) in our garage and we started with the conversion of the space into a treatment room, complete with WC. Blood, sweat and tears have gone in to making my dreams a reality.

When I'm not working you will either find me walking Kira, my flatcoated retriever, running, taking photos, playing with LEGO or going on trips in our campervan.
